Wynter Nicole Cook is a classically trained BFA Musical Theatre performer from Howard
University, hailing from Detroit, Michigan. She specializes in acting, singing, and movement.
Wynter has interests within a range of mediums including stage plays, musicals, television, voice-
over work, and cruise performances. Throughout her pursuit of the performing arts, she has
embodied characters both on stage and on screen. Since attending Howard University, she has
notably performed in Brown Girl, Brown Stones (Narrator) – a stage reading at Shakespeare
Theater Company, Howard University's production of Black Nativity (Soloist/Ensemble),
Woolly Mammoth's The Sensational Sea Mink-etts (U/S Keira/Aleyse Perf.) and most recently,
Olney Theatre Center’s Waitress (Francine/Ensemble/ U/S Nurse Norma). Through her artistry,
Wynter desires to bring life to impactful characters and stories in order to adjust audience
perspectives so that we may see ourselves and others through new eyes and with new
understanding. She has been blessed to have family, friends, and mentors to guide and
continuously support her as she embarks on her journey in the performing arts. Special thanks to
